  1. What has really been fun is the scandal in Brazil. I was listening to NPR earlier about it. Every living president and past president of Brazil is being investigated for corruption.

    Billions of dollars are involved, and donors have been essentially buying politicians when they run for office. Donors expect to profit upon winning, which of course is how things work in most democracies it seems.

    I'm not sure which article to link for it though.

    I don't know if that'll lead to improvement, but it could.

    Also, notice how Trump proclaims certain policies, like exiting from Paris deal, help small businesses. Small is good.
